Senior Patrol Leader

Job Description: 

The Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) is elected by the Scouts to represent them as the top junior leader in the troop.  He reports to the Scoutmaster.

Senior Patrol Leader duties:

1. Runs all troop meetings, events, activities, and the Greenbar planning meeting
2. Assigns duties and responsibilities to junior leaders
3. Assists the Scoutmaster with junior leader training
4. Sets a good example
5. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly
6. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law
7. Shows Scout spirit
